Natalie skated around the little kids, her hockey stick firmly in her grasp. "Alright. Three laps and then you can go home. I want three hard laps, or you'll skate three more. No one should be skating slower than me besides the goalies. GO." She followed the small children, skating slowly so she wouldn't go ahead of them. As long as the children were skating hard, she wouldn't skate ahead of them.
She stopped at center ice, her attention caught by Sidney as he walked into the rink. The children finished skating and came to center ice. One of the girls rolled their eyes. "Here she goes again. Next she'll start drooling.."
Natalie looked down at them. "Get off the ice. In the locker room. NOW." She smiled at the kids, giving the girl a gentle push off the ice. Natalie leaned on her hockey stick, gazing at Sidney. He was so fine...

Sidney left his hockey bag just inside the door, but his skates were still tied together and hanging off his shoulder as he walked to the side of the ice.
"Oh darn, it looks like I right out missed my practice!" he said jokingly as he watched the young kids get off the ice. His voice was soft and soothing, but had a strong undertone to it at the same time.
He looked up from the kids and to Natalie, wearing a light smile.

The little girl who had been teasing Natalie. "No, but you can have a different kind of practice with You-Know-Who."
"Locker Room! Now Analise!" Natalie's calm voice rang out as she smiled at the young hockey player.
Analise ran into the locker room, giggling the entire way.
Natalie could feel herself turn a deep shade of red. She began to skate backwards, trying to get to the bench, when she fell flat on her back. She was so nervous and that caused her to be klutzy. She lied on the ice, her face turning a bright red shade. She hoped that if maybe she lied there long enough, she would disappear or he would leave.

Sidney turned almost as red as Natalie when he heard Analise's comment, though he tried to act as though it hadn't phased him at all.
He quickly slid on his skates, then proceeded onto the ice, skating flawlessly towards her. He stood by Natalie's feet, turned towards her. "Are you alright?" he asked, concerned.

Natalie placed a hand on her forehead. "Uhh...yea, I'm fine." She sat up, digging the heel of her skate into the ice, standing up. She looked down at the ice, embarrassed. Her hair was in covering her face as she began to fumble with her hands. "I guess...I should go. You probably have a lot of practicing to do...not that you need it!" She closed her eyes. Moron. Stop being such an idiot! She couldn't make eye contact with him.

Once Sidney saw that she was in fact unharmed, he burst out in an uncontrolable laughter. After a minutes or two, he forced himself to stop, but still wore a large grin. "That's too bad you're leaving so early..." he said, his spirits sounding slightly dampened. Sidney then bent over, picking up her dropped hockey stick, but he held onto it.

Natalie just shrugged. "Well, I wouldn't want to disturb such an accomplished hockey player as yourself. I would just hold you back." She reached for her hockey stick, attempting to retrieve it. She still hadn't made eye contact, a few strands of hair in her face.

Sidney kept his hands wrapped around her stick tightly, trying to cause her to look to him in the eyes, but he was also keeping her there longer. "I don't know what in the world you're talking about. I'm nothing spectacular, not like some of the things I've seen you do with a stick." Not a second later, Sidney turned a deep red, realizing how what he said could be taken the wrong way. Hopefully she wouldn't notice his face because she seemed to not look him in the eyes.

Natalie blushed at his comments, taking it in both ways. She forced herself to look into his dreamy, hazel eyes. "Well, if you'd let go of it, I could show you." She was drawn into his eyes, trying not to show it. Her whole body wanted to move towards him, but she couldn't, wouldn't, make the first move. "I don't know how you can say you're nothing special. Not to many guys can do what you do with a stick." She froze, blushing even more.

Sidney laughed nervously and his face reddened even more, but couldn't look away. He still didn't let go of her stick either. "But I can't." he replied simply about it. "Besides, if I were anywhere near as good as guys like Jagr, Thorton, or Selanne, I'd probably be in the NHL by now." he replied non-chalantly. Sidney next took a half-stride backwards, seeing if she'd let go of the stick or follow.

Natalie let him pull her along, her eyes falling back to the ice in embarrassment. "Yes but you're..." She stopped. She was about to tell him he was much cuter than all of them combined. "You're much younger than all of them, and you'll have a long career in the NHL." She looked back into his eyes, skating a little closer to him without thinking about it.

He smiled, not even realizing how she skated towards him, he was too caught up in her own eyes. "Yeah, if I can survive the pranks the vetrans pull on the rookies." he replied, smiling, but he looked away as he blushed.

Natalie smiled. "You're tough, you can make it through the little pranks. Especially with as well as you play." She was fighting so hard not to capture his lips in a kiss right then and there, but she had to resist. She was crazy for him, but she wasn't so sure if the feeling was mutual.

"Thanks..." Sidney said, still blushing. When he looked back to her eyes, he saw that hers had remained on his the whole time. "Natalie... I..." But he didn't know exactly what to say, so instead, Sid brought her stick right up against his chest, which was still free of hockey gear.

Natalie let him pull her closer to him, her chest against his. She kept a firm grasp on her hockey stick, not wanting to let go. "Sidney...." She stared deep into his eyes, lost for words. His scent was intoxicating.
