He knew it was childish to get so nervous around a girl at his age, but he couldn't help it. There was something different about Natalie... something he couldn't help but love. As nerve-racking as it was, he FINALLY, after the longest time, managed to ask, "You're not doing anything later, are you?"

Natalie's heart skipped a beat. Her whole body seemed to begin to blush. "I...uh...no, I'm not..." She couldn't look away from his eyes. She could no longer form words. She was still trying to contemplate all of this.

"Would you... um... er... would-you-like-to-go-out-for-dinner...er... I mean... with me...?" Sidney asked, fumbling with some of his words and others he just sped through out of nervousness. "If you can't, that's totally fine, and um, well...?"

Natalie smiled uncontrollably. "S..sure..." She continued to lose herself in his eyes. She could tell, they were meant for each other. "Where should I...umm...meet you and what time?" She was shaking, and Sidney could probably feel it through her grasp on the hockey stick.

Crap. he thought. He hadn't considered that. He hadn't even planned on coming here and saying that, but he'd needed to say it. "Uh... how does... The Chocolate Factory sound? ...at 7?" His voice was just as shaky as he felt her hands were.
And if they hadn't been so caught up in each other, they would have heard a little giggle come from outside the boards.

Sidney stood just outside the nice restaurant, dressed semi-formally. He was waiting for Natalie and glanced at his watch every dozen seconds or so. Sid felt like he was in a dream, and had ever since she'd actually said 'sure'.

Natalie stepped out of the cap, drawing the attention of several guys as soon as she walked past them. She ignored them, trying to find Sidney, the only guy she wanted to see. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him standing there, waiting for her. Those three words sounded so good. Waiting for her. "Sidney." She smiled at him, walking up next to him. She would let Sidney make all the moves. He was the man in all of this, and it was his responsibility to do so. Her Attire

Sidney's whole face lightened up with a smile when he saw her, looking so beautiful. In fact, he thought that so much so, that Sidney found himself speechless. So, he held out his arm for her to take. "You look..." but by going back to that, he found himself once more unable to form words.

Natalie wrapped her arm around his, but was worried when he stumbled with his words. "Y...you don't like it?" She looked at him, almost apologetically. "I'm sorry...I can go back home and change...I...." She wasn't sure what to say.

He was startled that she could even think that's what he meant. "No! Absolutely not... it's exactly the opposite..." he assured. Sidney smiled to emphasize his words, but it caused his cheeks to go a bit rosy.
He led them inside and to a table. The restaurant was dimly lit but the light there was cast a light red glow upon them.

Natalie sat down at the table, trying to calm herself down. She was so nervous. Sitting at the table with the guy of her dreams, staring into his eyes. She wanted to kiss him so badly. That, and more. But, she had to have control. "So...ummm, I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but after dinner...did you uhh...have anything planned?" She knew what she wanted, but he would have to choose. She would make him.

Sidney smiled coyly. "You'll just have to wait and see." he replied, giving her a wink at the same time. Sidney then felt his leg 'accidentally' come in contact with hers under the table, giving his heart a small jolt of excitement. It was then that the waiter strode over to their table. "May I start you two off with a drink?"

Natalie was too lost in Sidney's eyes, and the contact with his leg almost made her heart stop completely. "I'll have a glass of Coca-Cola." She didn't want to be impaired at all for what might come up later in the night. "And if we're going to eat, I'll have the Ceaser Salad." She smiled at Sidney, losing herself in his eyes again.

Sidney didn't catch on to how sneaky her order was. "Make that two Coke's and I'll have a Kobe Burger, please." he told the waiter politely.
"Certainly." And the waiter was off, muttering something about 'oven chicken' under his breath.
Sidney's eyes snapped back to Natalie's and he began to smile even wider. "What's on your mind?" he asked curiously.

Natalie blushed, snapping back to reality. "I can't share. Not in public anyways." She looked at him slyly, her eyes still connected with his. She was beginning to doubt whether or not she could make it through this date.

Natalie placed her napkin in her empty salad bowl, still gazing into Sidney's eyes. Their dinner had been amazing, just like she had hoped. She smiled as the waiter placed the check down next to Sidney, then took it away once Sidney inserted the correct money and tip inside.

Sidney stood, offering her a hand to follow suit. He'd never quite seen her act like this, but he found it quite amusing, it was like she couldn't stop smiling, but then again, neither could he. "I'm fighting the urge to make you the happiest woman on earth tonight." Sidney whispered in her ear as he led them outside towards his own car.
