Nikolai was in the pool in his Hollister swimming trunks. He was somewhat sad. He had been searching for a boyfriend for the past few months and he was unable to find one. He sat on the steps of the pool with his arms around his legs as the jets blasted water onto his back. What am I doing wrong? he thought. Am I too shy for my own good?

Natalie walked out to the pool in her form fitting bikini, showing off her tone body. "Hey Nik." She walked up behind him, sliding her arms around his shoulders, massaging him gently. "I could sense your distress from the rink." She slid into the warm jacuzzi next to him. "What's wrong?" She looked into his eyes, trying to pull it out of him to talk to her.

"Hey, Nat..." Nikolai said. "I'm just... I don't know... my powers are growing, I've been busy recruiting people... but I need.. well, want a boyfriend but I'm too shy to approach anyone."

Natalie smiled at him, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, if you had a boyfriend, I'd be depressed. I would have to figure out how my brother managed to get a boyfriend before I did." She laughed. "I'm kidding." She ran her hands through her hair, letting it fall around her face. "Maybe you don't need a boyfriend right now. Just wait for the right guy."

Nikolai laughed and said, "Natalie, it's quite apparrent that you have never had a boyfriend before... they just don't magically appear..."

Natalie rolled her eyes. "Well, it's kinda hard to when you're twin brother can read your thoughts and is a little over-protective when it comes to her being with guys." She smiled softly at him. "You just need to be a little more open minded. And call that boy who always gives you his number. You like him, and he obviously likes you." She smiled. "It goes both ways. You can feel my feelings, and I can feel yours."

"But he works at my favorite store... what happens if we break up and I want to shop there? It'll be a bit awkward!" Nikolai replied. He knew he was rationalizing but didn't want to admit it to himself. "Besides, I'd rather date a fellow mutant..."

Natalie flung a small metallic object at the back of his head. "One, it doesn't matter if you two break up. There are OTHER employees. And, how do you know he isn't a mutant? Or at least a friend to mutants? By saying no just because you think he is human is just as bad as discriminating against mutants because of our powers."

"Well, how I know he's not a mutant brings me to my powers growing." Nik said. "I can sense differences in the magnetic fields that surrounds Mutants verses the magnetic fields that surrounds Homo sapiens." Nikolai didn't appreciate being called a speciesist. "And I'd rather date a mutant because he'd know what I was going through and I'd know what he was going through...."

Natalie smiled. "Well, wouldn't it be helpful to understand why humans are so prejudice against us by dating a human? You never know until you try." She looked down at the water. "And if you don't make a move, I just might..." A smirk crawled accross her face.

"Are you sure you're not a supremicist?" Nikolai asked with a smile. "Because sometimes you're downright devious. After a few minutes he said, "Okay... I'll make you a deal. I'll ask Jake out if you ask your little Hockey friend out..."

Natalie had to stop herself from blushing. "I don't know who you're talking about." She looked at him stubbornly. Nikolai couldn't possible expect her to ask Sidney out. He was a superstar hockey player, most likely headed for the NHL. She was just a lowly girl coaching a Junior Mites hockey team.

"The twin telepathy thing goes both ways..." he said mocking her. He splashed her with water and then sped off in the pool.

Natalie scoffed at him, wiping water from her face. "Jerk!" She dove into the pool after him, landing right on his back. She wrestled with him until she had him pinned. "I can't ask Sidney out. It wouldn't work. He's a stud. I'm...me."

"I'll agree... he's smoking hot... and I'm surprised the ice around him doesn't melt... but that aside, you and I are twins so if I'm good looking, you obviously are... and you don't see how he looks at your ass when your back is to him..." Nikolai replied laughing hard.
